Day 1: Tbilisi

Decaying old houses amidst the pricey real estate of central Tbilisi
Fortress in the morning light
Downtown Tbilisi
A restaurant, I think?
Interesting parking job outside wine shop.
Assorted veggie concoctions sprinkled with pomegranate seeds
I try not to be limited by my fear of heights, but sleeping on the uppermost bunk was terrifying
This brewery fills a plastic bottle with your choice of beer, then transfers it to a pint glass. Maybe it helps with the foam?

Day 2: Kutaisi

Church in a tree

Day 3: Monasteries

Most colorful drive-thru ever
Walking along a "disused" railroad track
A weird thing to have to tell people
Mushroom fajita

Day 4:

Iron-rich spring

Day 5: Onward to Ghebi

Bean quesadillas and everpresent tomato/cucumber salad.
This pig followed me for some minutes and halfheartedly posed for all my pictures

Day 6: Knowing your Boundaries

Shrine outside my guesthouse room
Butterflies sure do love poop
Awash in a flurry of poopy butterflies.

Day 7: Next, Kazbegi

Day 8: Churches and Glaciers

A lot of rules for a mountain hut
Glacier

Day 9: TruSo Gorge

Veggie dinner in the station diner

Day 10: Svaneti

This theater only plays one movie, five times a day.
Mother-in-law tower
Someone weaponized this cow by affixing a board with nails to its face.

Day 11: Turned Around

Every single car that passed this accident stopped to help - eventually a ring of about 30 guys carried it to a field on the other side of the road.

Day 13: Baku

Night train from Tbilisi to Baku
Azerbaijan has its share of burkas, but they certainly aren't the norm in Baku
Caspian coastline
The Flame Towers

Day 14: Xinaliq

"Highest village in Europe"
This village had giant poop masonry works on every corner, presumably for heating/cooking.

Day 15: Quba

All dressed up and nowhere to go
Cozy 4-across 2-hour minibus ride
Pizza Hut started in the States, but we've somehow missed out on all their most innovative menu options.

Day 16: Sheki

Random hotel
Breakfast at tea shop
Hunter's cafe, complete with shotgun shells
Pottery artisan workshop
Winter palace
