Bangkok and Nakhon Pathom Sukothai and Ayutthaya Sukothai and Ayutthaya Chiang Mai and the North

I think I can safely label Thailand as one of the world's premier travel destinations - the scenery is unparalleled, the people are ridiculously friendly and absurdly helpful, the food is delicious and immaculately clean, there doesn't seem to be any crime (vendors leave their goods out at night and large sums of money are left in open spaces undisturbed) and at the same time, the police seem to rarely make an appearance and laws, in the traditional sense of the word, don't really exist - best of all, travelling here costs approximately nothing. I recommend that you drop whatever you're doing and head for Thailand right now - the evil claws of western civilization have already begun tearing at the local culture in the form of KFCs, blue jeans and pop music - soon this land of mystery will hold all the intrigue of the Walmart down the street. If you feel like doing a crazy cross-country motorcycle trip and need a guide that can practically speak and read enough Thai to survive, just give me a call.
